Mistral Pro is a classic HubSpot CMS theme for agencies, consultancies and B2B service companies. Everything it does can be done from the HubSpot interface, without writing a line of code.

What is in the box

14 page templatesHome, About, Services, Service detail, Case studies listing, Case study, Contact, Legal page, Thank you page, three landing pages, Blog listing, Blog post.
11 system templatesError 404, Error 500, Search results, Password prompt, the three email subscription pages, and four membership pages (login, registration, password reset, password reset request).
7 ready-made sectionsPre-composed groups of modules you drop into a page from the Add section panel.
46 modulesHeroes, headings, service and case study showcases, social proof, long-form content, blog, forms, video, navigation. Each has its own icon and a description in the editor.
Theme settingsSeven groups (Colors, Typography, Buttons, Forms, Header, Footer, Layout and spacing). Every value becomes a CSS variable used by every template and module.
Demo contentRealistic, fictional copy and original photography, so every template opens ready to be edited rather than empty.

Nothing in the theme uses HubDB, serverless functions or CRM object fields: no extra add-on is needed.

Requirements

HubSpot subscriptionContent Hub (any tier) for pages and the blog.
Membership pagesContent Hub Professional or above. The four membership templates upload and render on any tier, but HubSpot only lets you assign them to private content from Professional upwards.
FormsAny tier. The theme uses your own HubSpot forms; none is bundled.
BrowsersCurrent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, desktop and mobile.

Three things you will do once

A theme file cannot contain things that belong to your account. After installing, you will:

  1. Pick your forms in the three modules that embed one (contact, lead capture, newsletter). See Forms.
  2. Upload the hero video to your File Manager and select it on the home page. See Video.
  3. Build your menus and assign the system pages. See Navigation and menus and System pages.

Each of these takes about a minute.

How this documentation is organised

The articles follow the order in which you will meet things:

  1. Install and activate — from the marketplace to your first page.
  2. Theme settings — colours, fonts, buttons, header, footer, spacing.
  3. Building pages — templates, sections, modules and the conventions shared by every module.
  4. Templates — what each of the 14 page templates is for.
  5. The module families: heroes and headings, showcase, social proof, content and media.
  6. Blog, Forms, Video, Navigation and menus.
  7. System pages, Membership pages, Multiple languages.
  8. Images and brand marks, Performance and accessibility.
  9. Troubleshooting, FAQ, Support.
